Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Paavai College of Engineering has organized a Webinar on “JOURNEY FROM CRYPTOGRAPHY TO BLOCKCHAIN” on 18.09.2021.
The Guest Speaker Dr.P.Karthikeyan, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Jain University, JGI Global Campus, Jakkasandra Post Kanakapura Taluk, Ranamagara District, Bangalore-562112, India, has delivered his speech on “JOURNEY FROM CRYPTOGRAPHY TO BLOCKCHAIN”.
The virtual meeting was chaired by Dr. A. Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering and followed by Mr. R. Murugesan, HOD / CSE, Paavai College of Engineering and faculty members and students from CSE department has participated in it.
The Guest Speaker Dr.P.Karthikeyan, has delivered a brief introduction of Cryptography. The transformation of blockchain technology from cryptography was explained with the real time examples. How to use cryptocurrency and bitcoin in an efficient manner was narrated. The webinar was a mind-boggling session for the students, who got to know about the various cryptographic algorithms and also cleared the doubts regarding job based on cryptoanalysis.
Earlier, Ms. R.Kaviya, IV CSE has given a warm welcome address to the guest speaker and participants. Mr. M.Mohankumar, IV CSE introduced Chief Guest and Mr.S.V.Umashankar, IV CSE has delivered the Vote of Thanks.
