The Institution’s Innovation Council of Paavai College of Engineering, in association with the Department of CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), organized a workshop on 3rd September 2026 at 10.30 AM through Kalams Chamber. The event focused on the topic “Build Your First AI Product: From Idea to Deployment” and was conducted for students.
The session was graced by Mr. Jayasurya Gnanavel, Founder & CEO, Cybernaut EdTech Private Limited, Karur, Tamilnadu. Who served as the chief guest and resource person. The resource person delivered an engaging and practical session on AI product development, explaining the complete journey from identifying an idea to building and deploying an AI-powered product.
The resource person explained the importance of identifying real-world problems and transforming innovative ideas into practical AI-based solutions. The session covered important aspects of AI product development, including idea generation, problem identification, product definition, selection of suitable AI technologies, prototyping, development, testing, and deployment. Practical examples and demonstrations were used to provide participants with a better understanding of how AI solutions can be developed and applied to real-world problems.
A major highlight of the workshop was the resource person’s personal journey and experiences in achieving success. He shared how he started his career, the challenges and difficulties he faced along the way, the efforts he made to overcome them, and the steps he followed to reach his present position. Through his personal experiences, he explained to the students how determination, continuous learning, hard work, innovative thinking, and perseverance can help them achieve their goals.
The resource person strongly motivated the students to dream big, believe in their abilities, continuously upgrade their technical skills, and make effective use of emerging technologies. He encouraged the participants to learn from failures, take initiative, develop innovative ideas, and work consistently towards becoming successful professionals and entrepreneurs.
The hands-on activities and demonstrations enabled the participants to gain practical exposure to AI product development and understand the various stages involved in transforming an idea into a deployable product. The session was highly informative, interactive, and motivational, providing participants with valuable technical knowledge as well as inspiration for their future careers.
The event was presided over by Dr. V. Hariharan, M.E., Ph.D., Principal, Paavai College of Engineering, who emphasized the importance of emerging AI technologies and encouraged the students and faculty members to actively participate in the workshop. Dr. A. Immanuvel, M.E., Ph.D., Vice Principal, and Mr. C. Sundhar, HoD of CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), Paavai College of Engineering, addressed the gathering and appreciated the resource person for conducting the informative and motivational session.
