The National Level Technical Symposium, “TECHFEST 2K26,” was successfully organized by Paavai College of Engineering, Namakkal, bringing together enthusiastic participants from various institutions and disciplines. The valediction ceremony, marking the culmination of the symposium, was held on Friday, 13th March 2026 at 2:30 p.m. in Pragati Hall.
The programme began with a warm and formal welcome address by Mr. Rishi, a first-year student, who cordially welcomed the esteemed chief guests, faculty members, and participants. His address set a positive tone for the ceremony and reflected the vibrant spirit of the institution.
The Special Address was delivered by Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Educational Institutions. In her speech, she appreciated the efforts of the organizers and participants and emphasized the importance of technical education in shaping future innovators and leaders. She also distributed prizes and certificates to the winners of various events, recognizing their talent, dedication, and achievements.
TECHFEST 2K26 witnessed active participation from students representing departments such as Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Automobile Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, CSE (AI & ML), CSE (Cyber Security), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The symposium featured a wide range of technical events, including paper presentations, workshops, and competitions, providing a valuable platform for students to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
This was followed by a prelude presented by Ms. Nathiya, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, who gave a comprehensive overview of TECHFEST 2K26. She highlighted the objectives of the symposium, the variety of events conducted, and the enthusiastic participation from students across different disciplines. She also emphasized the importance of such platforms in fostering innovation, collaboration, and practical learning.
The valediction ceremony was presided over by Shri. C.A. N.V. Natarajan, Founder and Chairman of Paavai Educational Institutions.
