The Department of Automobile and Mechanical Engineering of Paavai College of Engineering jointly organized an online webinar on “Business Model Validation and Product Commercialization” on 31 August 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The webinar was graced by the presence of Dr. V. Hariharan, Principal; Dr. A. Immanuvel, Vice Principal; Dr. J. Narendran, Head, IQAC; and Mr. R. Harisudhan, Head, Department of Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. V. Harish, Third Year, B.E. Automobile Engineering.
Dr. V. Hariharan, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he highlighted the importance of various technical events in keeping students updated with industrial expectations and emerging trends.
The introduction of the Chief Guest was given by Mr. M. Tamilselvan, Third Year, B.E. Mechanical Engineering. The Resource Person, Mr. Navaneeth Manivannan, Senior Manager – Zonal HR, Federal Bank, Salem, Tamil Nadu, India, delivered a lecture on “Business Model Validation and Product Commercialization.” He provided detailed insights into business model validation based on customer needs, market demand, pricing, and revenue potential. He also explained strategies for product commercialization, marketing, and market entry, highlighting the potential for successful product launches, customer adoption, revenue generation, and sustainable growth.
The session provided students with valuable insights into career readiness, internships, and employability skills through industry exposure. Students also gained knowledge about funding opportunities, sponsored projects, and technology transfer mechanisms.
