The Department of CSE (Cyber Security), organized a Seminar on “Driving Innovation: Shaping the Future of Start-Ups” on 31st August 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Seminar commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms.Pooja Suresh,II Year CSE (Cyber Security) student.
Dr. J. Narendran, Head, IQAC, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he highlighted the importance of various technical events in keeping students updated with industrial expectations and emerging trends. Mr.Vishal Joseph, II Year CSE (Cyber Security) student, introduced the guest speaker, Mrs.Sreemathy Sampath, Founder & Managing Director, Linkskill Academy Pvt Ltd, Salem and Mr.Manojkumar T.S, Co-Founder CampusZen Learning Solutions, Coimbatore.
The resource person shared valuable insights into the start-up ecosystem, the role of innovation in shaping the future of businesses, and the growing opportunities available for young entrepreneurs. Students were guided on identifying innovative ideas, understanding market needs, developing viable business models, and transforming creative concepts into successful start-ups. The speaker emphasized the importance of creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, leadership, teamwork, and continuous learning in the entrepreneurial journey.
Practical guidance was provided on market research, product development, customer validation, funding opportunities, digital technologies, intellectual property, and effective strategies for building and scaling a start-up. The resource person also highlighted the importance of developing communication skills, networking with industry professionals, understanding customer requirements, and staying updated with emerging technologies and market trends.
The interactive session encouraged students to actively participate and clarify their doubts regarding entrepreneurship, innovation, business planning, funding, start-up development, and industry expectations. The seminar served as a valuable platform for students to gain practical knowledge about entrepreneurship and understand how innovative ideas can be transformed into sustainable business ventures. The Seminar was followed by a feedback session, during which the participants shared their valuable observations and learning experiences. Finally, the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr.M.Vibushnan, IV Year CSE (Cyber Security) student, marking the successful conclusion of the Seminar.
