Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Paavai College of Engineering has organized seminar on “Classification and Clustering in Machine Learning” on 12.08.2023. The programme commenced with a Prayer Song and Tamilthai Vazthu. The inaugural function was made in the presence of Dr. K. K. Ramasamy, Director – Admin, Paavai Institutions, Dr. A. Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering and Mr. R. Murugesan, Head of the Department, CSE, Paavai College of Engineering.
The Welcome address was given by Ms. M. Jayaharini, Third year, B.E – Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. K. K. Ramasamy, Director – Admin, Paavai Institutions, had presided over the function and delivered the presidential address. In his Presidential Address, he insisted the students to do certification courses and update their knowledge. In addition to that he added, students must develop their knowledge in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, since it’s ruling the world today. The Chief Guest Introduction was given by Ms. V. Sowmiya, Third year, B.E – Computer Science and Engineering.
The Guest Speaker Dr. N. Jaisankar, Professor Higher Academic Grade, Department of Software Systems, VIT, Vellore had delivered the lecture on “Classification and Clustering in Machine Learning”. He has given an elaborate lecture on Java with Machine Learning Concepts, how machine learning self – thinking to make decisions.
He also added hands – on training in installing anaconda packages to work with machine learning. Also, given a demonstration about program deployment. At last, he has given some tips on facing Java Interview questions.
Ms. D. Thilagavathi, Final year, B.E – Computer Science and Engineering has delivered Vote of Thanks and the session ended with lots of learning.
