The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organized a Guest Lecture on “From Campus to Corporate: Building a Successful Technology Career” on 29th August 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Guest Lecture commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms.K.Nivetha, III Year CSE student. Ms.R.Shruthika, III Year CSE student, introduced the guest speaker, Ms.M.Shanmika, BDM(National sales), Technobind Solutions Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560078.
The resource person shared valuable insights into the current technology industry, emerging career opportunities, and the importance of continuous learning. Students were guided on developing strong technical fundamentals, improving programming skills, building projects, participating in internships, and staying updated with emerging technologies. The speaker also highlighted the significance of communication skills, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, time management, and a positive professional attitude. Practical guidance was provided on preparing resumes, attending interviews, developing a professional profile, and approaching placement opportunities with confidence. The interactive session encouraged students to actively participate and clarify their doubts regarding career planning, skill development, placements, and industry expectations. The lecture served as a valuable platform for students to gain practical knowledge and understand the transition from academic learning to professional life.
The Guest Lecture was followed by a feedback session, during which the participants shared their valuable observations and learning experiences. Finally, the Vote of Thanks was delivered by T.Deepanjali, II Year CSE student, marking the successful conclusion of the Guest Lecture.
