The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organized an online webinar on “Lean Start-Up & Minimum Viable Product/Business” on 22.07.2026.The webinar commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. T. Srimathi, III Year CSE student. Ms. R. Shruthika, III Year CSE student, introduced the guest speaker, Mr. M. Hendry, Director and Head of Operations, EDIZO Pvt. Ltd., Chennai.The Resource Person delivered an insightful and engaging session, emphasizing the key principles of the Lean Start-Up methodology, including identifying customer needs, developing business hypotheses, testing assumptions, gathering customer feedback, and continuously improving products or services.The session particularly focused on the concept of Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
The Resource Person explained how entrepreneurs can develop a basic version of a product with essential features and test it with potential customers before investing significant time and resources. Through practical examples and interactive discussions, the participants learned how to identify real-world problems, define target customers, develop appropriate solutions, and validate business ideas through customer feedback.The webinar was followed by a feedback session, during which the participants shared their valuable observations and learning experiences. Finally, the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ms. K. Nivetha, III Year CSE student, marking the successful conclusion of the webinar.
