The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organized a seminar titled “Innovation and Startup Ecosystem Enablers for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs” on 17th July 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The session was led by Mr. M.K. Elango, Founder & CEO – StartNet, Chief Strategist -Publytics, Executive Director – ThinkTN, and Chief Mentor @ LeadWithCCI, A.C. College of Technology – InterEd Ventures Private Limited, Salem. He served as the resource speaker for the event and delivered a highly insightful and engaging lecture.
Mr. M.K. Elango highlighted the critical role of prompt engineering in today’s innovation landscape. One of the key takeaways from the session was a clear distinction between an entrepreneur and an intrapreneur, providing valuable clarity for aspiring innovators. He also explained the concept of the AI stack and introduced participants to several AI tools such as Bolt, Lovable, and others, demonstrating how these technologies can support early-stage entrepreneurship.
The seminar commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. T. Srimathi, a second-year CSE student, followed by the introduction of the resource person by Ms. R. Shruthika, also a second-year CSE student. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. M. Thulasi, second-year CSE student.
Dr. V. Hariharan, M.E., Ph.D., Principal; Dr. A. Immanuvel, M.E., Ph.D., Vice Principal; and Mr. R. Murugesan, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Paavai College of Engineering, addressed the gathering and expressed their appreciation for the speaker’s contributions.
The event witnessed active participation from faculty and students alike. Mrs. N. Nathiya, Convener of IIC, along with Heads of various Departments, around 60 faculty members, and approximately 100 from different departments in total around 200 attended the seminar.
