“Strong Bones, Strong Life,” a Bone Density Checking Medical Camp, was successfully organized by the NSS Unit of Paavai College of Engineering in association with the Rotary Club of Rasipuram on 30.01.2026 at Pragati Hall.
The main objective of the medical camp was to create awareness about the importance of bone health, early detection of bone-related disorders, and to promote preventive healthcare practices among the public. The camp was organized for the benefit of the general public and staff members.
The programme witnessed an overwhelming response, with a total of 1100 beneficiaries participating in the camp. Bone density screening was conducted by qualified medical professionals using appropriate diagnostic equipment. The participants were provided with test results and medical advice regarding diet, calcium intake, exercise, and lifestyle changes required for maintaining strong and healthy bones.
The NSS volunteers of Paavai College of Engineering actively supported the programme by coordinating registrations, guiding beneficiaries, and ensuring smooth conduct of the camp. The Rotary Club of Rasipuram extended their full cooperation by arranging medical facilities and expert support.
The medical camp was conducted in a systematic and disciplined manner and concluded successfully. The event significantly contributed to spreading awareness about bone health and reinforced the message that “Strong Bones lead to a Strong Life.”
The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to the Rotary Club of Rasipuram, medical team, NSS volunteers, and the management of Paavai College of Engineering for their continuous support and cooperation in making the programme a grand success.
