Paavai College of Engineering, Namakkal, in association with the Government Medical College and Hospital, Namakkal, organized a Blood Donation Camp on 27th September 2025 at Visveswaraya Hall. The event was inaugurated by Dr. K. K. Ramasamy, Director (Administration), Dr. A. Immanuvel, Vice Principal, and Dr. Anbumalar, Blood Bank Officer, Government Medical College and Hospital, Namakkal. Their presence and motivating words inspired the students and staff to actively participate in this noble cause.
A total of 100 units of blood were collected during the camp. Students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff participated with great enthusiasm. The medical team from the Government Hospital appreciated the college management and volunteers for their excellent organization and cooperation.
The event was organized by Mr. B. V. Maheswaran, NSS Programme Officer, who coordinated all arrangements and ensured the smooth conduct of the camp. The initiative helped spread awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and reflected the spirit of social responsibility among Paavai students.
Overall, the camp was a resounding success.
