The NSS of Paavai College of Engineering has conducted a seven days special camp “YOUTH FOR CLEANLINESS” from 04/08/2023 to 10/08/2023 at Government Hr. Sec. School, Puduchatram. The inauguration of the camp was made in presence of the Dr. A.Immanuvel, Principal, Mr. B.V. Maheshwaran, NSS Programme Officer, Various Department Heads of Paavai College of Engineering and Mr. R. Imayathandavaboopathy, Head Master, Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Puduchatram.
Dr. K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions, was invited as chief guest for the inaugural function. The camp aims to create awareness about cleanliness among school students. A team of 50 NSS students of Paavai College of Engineering have involved in the activities to maintain cleanliness and also renovated the smart hall inside the school campus. They planted trees inside the campus and also created awareness among the students about their roles in sustainable development.
The valedictory function of the camp was made in the same smart hall which was renovated by the NSS team at Government Hr. Sec. School, Puduchatram. Mr. R. Imayathandavaboopathy, Head Master, Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Puduchatram appreciated the NSS Team with certificate.
