Department of Automobile Engineering and Mechanical Engineering of Paavai College of Engineering has organized a Webinar on “Trends, Challenges and Opportunities in Automotive Industry” on 21.08.2021.
The Guest Speaker Mr.V.Rajkamal Soundararajan, Sr.Manager, Chief Safety Engineering, Research centre, Tata motors Ltd; Pune had delivered his speech on Trends, Challenges and Opportunities in Automotive Industry.
The virtual meeting was chaired by Dr. A. Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering and followed by Dr. J.Narendran, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Paavai College of Engineering and faculty members and students from various departments has participated in it.
The Guest Speaker Mr.V.Rajkamal Soundararajan, had delivered an excellent lecture on Causes of road accidents, Road safety, Crash tests and other passenger safety priorities , Safety standards and a new technique used in autonomous vehicles, Finally, he discussed the numerous opportunities available in crash test technology. He also, conducted an ICE breaker session to encourage student’s participation over the webinar.
Earlier, Mr.S.Abishek Shani – Final year Mechanical Engineering has given a warm welcome address to the guest speaker and participants. Mr.V.Shankar – Final year Mechanical Engineering introduced Chief Guest and Mr.J.K.Dhanaprakasam, Final Year Automobile has delivered Vote of Thanks.
