The Department of Mathematics in association with Institutions Innovation council organized a webinar on “Future-Ready Engineers: Role of Design Skills” on 21.02.2026. This session was conducted by Mr.S.Santhosh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Kongu Engineering College, Erode. The Resource person delivered an insightful session on innovative designing of automobiles, start-up opportunities, importance of designs skill. The main objective of this webinar is enhancing our student’s knowledge especially in designing field.
234 students along with faculty members were participated in the webinar session. This session is also highlighted real time application of Design Engineering. An interactive discussion was conducted, during which students actively clarified their doubts regarding recent development of engineering design. This session were successfully started with welcome speech by Mrs.M.Vimala, HoD of Science and Humanities. Introduction of Resource Person is given by Dr. R.Karthikeyan, Asso. Professor, Department of Mathematics.
Without students’ efforts, no program will be end in grand success. Our students gave full support during the whole session of the webinar. All faculty members of Science and Humanities were given moral support directly and indirectly for successful completion of webinar.
