A one-day hands-on training programme was conducted for the second-year Mechanical Engineering students on 7th August 2025 at the Namakkal Training Centre (NTC), located on Paramathi Road, Keerampur, Namakkal. A total of 35 students took part in this industrial training initiative.
The primary objective of the training was to provide students with practical exposure to the latest advancements in Internal Combustion (IC) engine technologies. During the session, students explored cutting-edge developments in IC engine design, fuel systems, emission control mechanisms, and maintenance strategies.
Key Learning Highlights:
This hands-on experience enabled students to effectively bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications. It enriched their understanding of mechanical systems and offered meaningful insight into the practical aspects of IC engine technology the department extends its gratitude to Namakkal Training Centre for their generous support in facilitating this valuable training experience.
