The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an alumni guest lecture on the title of “Career Guidance and Interview Skills”. The session was inaugurated at 1.30 p.m. by Dr.K.K.Ramasamy Director Admin in the presence of Dr. R.Arangasamy Principal, Head of the department Computer Science and Engineering, Heads of various departments, faculty members and the participants from departments of Computer Science and Engineering. In his Presidential Address, the Director Admin insists clearly about the engineering field, and he also motivated the students to improve the skills to be a good Engineer. The keynote address was given by the guest speaker Ms.S. Indira Priya Dharshini, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai. She expressed her sincere gratitude to the College for their support. She expressed her experience as a student which gave her confidence to face the real world outside the campus. The session was carried over on the title “Career Guidance and Interview Skills”. She extended her speech about the emerging technologies in IT Companies and the recent projects with the current technology. She motivated the students to develop the projects with their own creativity. She also shared the usage of programming languages C, C++, Java, Python over with technologies like Machine learning, Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Science, Deep learning and Networking. The entire session carried out the enormous information about the Interview skills, Technical skills and opening of jobs in IT industries. She passed the positive vibration and made all the students to work towards their goal. She rendered her heartfelt thanks to the Management, Head of the Department and the faculty members. Ms.N.Gayathri Devi, Final year CSE, welcomed the gathering. The session ended around 04:30 p.m. with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr.M.Yokeswaran, Final year CSE.
