One day workshop on “Skill Development Programme” was organized by Department of Civil Engineering on 26.7.2018 for all the students of Civil Engineering. The programme was started with brief inaugural address by Dr. M.Devi, Principal, Paavai college of Engineering. Introductory session on the subject was given by Dr. S.Sukumar, Dean-Civil Engineering. Mr.Vijaya kumar, Marketing Manager of ULTRATECH gave address on Civil Engineering studies and practical knowledge on civil work. And Mr.Sanjay kumar, Assistant General Manager, handled the first presentation session on “Tips on Construction of Building”. The practical session about the concrete was held in afternoon by masons. The programme came to a happy end with feedback from students. All the students said that they have enhanced their practical knowledge in Civil Engineering. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks rendered by Prof.P.Kalimuthu, HOD, Department of Civil Engineering of Paavai College of Engineering.
