Paavai College of Engineering organized Engineer’s day celebration on 12.9.2018. The theme of the programme was “DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION: A NEW INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION”. The Inaugural function started with prayer song by our students followed by Tamil Thaai Valthu. R.Abarna, Third year civil Engineering welcomed the gathering. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director administration, Paavai Institutions gave his presidential address. In his address he highlighted that Engineer’s should be a creator, an innovator and also a contributor. He also insisted the students that as an engineer they should improve their skills and knowledge. Paper presentation was organized on the theme “DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION:A NEW INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION”. For this event many abstracts were received out of which few were shortlisted for presentation. The prize winners were awarded with certificate and C.Uma, Final year Civil Engineering gave the Vote of thanks.
