Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a Two Days National Level Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence Tools for Effective Research and Publications” on 09.01.2026 and 10.01.2026 at Brilliant Hall. The program commenced with a prayer song, followed by Tamil Thai Vazhthu. The Workshop commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. T. Srimathi, II-year CSE student. Ms,R.Shruthika (II Year CSE) introduced the guest speaker, Dr.P.Karthikeyan,M.E,Ph.D.,PDF., Associate Professor and Center Head (Centre for Applied and Responsible AI),School of Computer Science and Engineering, R V University, Bengaluru and Dr.V.Balaji,Ph.D., Associate Professor School of Computer Science and Engineering, RV University, Bengaluru. The Presidential address is delivered by Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director-Administration, Paavai Institutions. In this keynote address, Dr.P.Karthikeyan provided valuable insights into highlighted the rapid growth of AI has transformed the research ecosystem by offering intelligent tools for literature review, data analysis, Grammar and language refinement, citation management, journal selection, Peet-review response drafting, and research impact assessment.
In the first Day the Guest speakers explained about Introduction to AI in Academic Research, AI Tools for Literature Search, AI based Reference Management and Research Dataset Discovery & Sources and the Second day, AI Tools for Data Analysis & Visualization, AI Tools for diagram & Flowchart Generation, AI content Detection & Ethical AI Use, AI-Based Proofreading & Journal Selection, AI Agents &Research Automation, Capstone Activity. After that, the feedback session was done Then the Valedictory address is delivered by Dr.V.Hariharan, Principal of Paavai College of Engineering and the certificates were Distributed .Finally, Vote of thanks delivered by Ms.R.Mahibavathi (III Year CSE) followed by national anthem.
