The Institution’s Innovation Council of Paavai College of Engineering, in association with the Department of Science and Humanities, organized a guest lecture on 4th August 2025 at 3:00 PM in Brilliant Hall, PCE. The event focused on the topic “Bio-electro Remediation of Emerging Pollutants” and was conducted for faculty members and students. Around 50 participants attended the session.
The session was graced by Dr. S. Kamala Kannan, an eminent expert in the field of Environmental Science and Biotechnology, who served as the chief guest and resource person. Dr. S. Kamala Kannan is widely recognized for his research contributions in bioremediation technologies, particularly in developing eco-friendly methods to treat emerging environmental contaminants. With his extensive academic experience and commitment to sustainable innovation, he has inspired many in the scientific community.
During the one-hour session, Dr. Kamala Kannan delivered an engaging and insightful lecture, shedding light on advanced strategies in bio-electro remediation and their potential in addressing modern environmental challenges.
