Department of Automobile Engineering and Mechanical Engineering of Paavai College of Engineering has organized a Webinar on “Opportunities in Finite Element Analysis” on 02.09.2021.
The Guest Speaker Dr. S. Yuvaraj, Assistant Professor, Department of Robotics and Automation, Easwari Engineering College, Chennai had delivered his speech on design and analysis opportunities in Finite Element Analysis.
The virtual meeting was chaired by Dr. A. Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering and followed by Dr. J.Narendran, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Paavai College of Engineering. The faculty members and students from various departments has participated in it.
The Guest Speaker Dr.S.Yuvaraj, had delivered an excellent lecture on need for Finite Element Analysis, basic concepts, general procedure in FEM, softwares in FEM, application of FEM. He also made a demonstration in simscale software. Finally, he discussed the numerous opportunities available in FEM. The webinar was very interactive, as the students interact with the Resource person and make use of the webinar.
Earlier, Mr.V.Srinath of Final year Mechanical Engineering has given a warm welcome address to the guest speaker and participants. And Mr.V.Shankar of Final year Mechanical Engineering introduced the Resource person , finally Mr.J.K.Dhanaprakasam of Final Year Automobile has delivered Vote of Thanks.
