The Department of Automobile and Mechanical Engineering in Association with Entrepreneur Development Cell of Paavai College of Engineering jointly organized Online webinar on “The Role of Hackathons in Student Entrepreneurship” on 30 January 2026, 11.30 am. to 12.30 pm. The webinar was graced by the presence of Dr. V. Hariharan, Principal, Dr. A. Immanuvel, Vice Principal, Dr. J. Narendran, Head IQAC and Mr. R. Harisudhan, Head, Department of Mechanical & Automobile Engineering. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. V. Harish., Second year, B.E., Automobile Engineering. Dr. V. Hariharan, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering presided over the function. In his presidential address, he stated the importance of various technical events in updating our self with Industrial expectations.
The introductions to the Chief Guests were given by Mr. S. Narenkumar, second year, B.E., Mechanical Engineering. The Resource Person Dr. P. Vignesh. , Associate Professor, Department of Safety and Fire Engineering, K.S.R College of Engineering, Tiruchengode. Detailed about deeper understandings of Participants gained hands-on experience in idea validation, prototyping, and product development and increased awareness of startup ecosystems, funding opportunities, and incubation support.
