Paavai College of Engineering organized a webinar on “STARTUP POSSIBILITIES IN NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING” on 18.03.2023.The inaugural function to the webinar was made in presence of Dr.A.Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering and Dr.J.Narendran, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Engineering. The welcome address was given by Mr.A.G.Hariharan, Final year, B.E., Mechanical Engineering. In his presidential address, he stated that there is need among the students to build their knowledge in the fundamentals and basics of every subjects in their field.
The introduction about Guest was given by Mr.P.Srinivas, Final year, B.E., Mechanical Engineering. The Chief Guest Mr.V.S.Navinesh, Senior AR Associate, Omega Health Care , Trichy made a Key note address in which he spoke about importance of attitude in everyone’s success.
Then a Guest lecture was given by Mr.V.S.Navinesh about Startup Possibilities in Non Destructive Testing. First he briefs about metal testing and its need in current scenario. Then he explained, where and how Non Destructive Testing is used in industries and what are its merits over other testing methods. He also discussed about the challenges in implementation of Non Destructive Testing and list the areas where the testing have to work.
