Paavai College of Engineering and Pavai College of Technology conducted a two day National Level Technical Symposium TECHFEST- 2K22 on 29 & 30 th September 2022. The program started with the prayer song. E. Tamizhan, Second Year CSE, welcomed the gathering.
Shri.CA. N.V. Natarajan, Chairman, Paavai Institutions presided over the function. Smt. Mangai Natarajan, Correspondent of Paavai Institutions inaugurated the function by lighting the Kuthuvilaku. Dr.K.K. Ramasamy, Director Admin; Dr.A. Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering ; Prof.S.Dinakaran, Principal, Pavai College of Technology ; Dr. M. Premkumar, Principal, Paavai Engineering College ; Deans of Paavai Institutions, Principals of other colleges under Paavai Institutions, Heads of various departments, faculty members, students and delegates from other colleges participated in the inauguration ceremony.
The chief guest Mr. R. Senthilkumar delivered the keynote address. In his address he said, that he was proud to participate in the Symposium. The education, training, morals and customs imparted to the students in the college appear as a reflection of the working environment of multinational company.
In today’s era, technology is growing minute by minute. So students get a good opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge by participating in such seminars. Every action which we do today is an investment for your better future. So as engineering students you should have good understanding of basic science and look at everything from an engineering perspective. It will still lead to innovation in education.
The closing ceremony of the National Level Technical Symposium jointly organized by Paavai College of Engineering and Pavai College of Technology was presided by Mr. N. V. Natarajan, Chairman, and Paavai Institutions. Chairman Sir encouraged the participants to develop the language skill by stating himself as an example. He too studied in Tamil medium, but his continuous practice of reading newspapers, Magazines and listening to record made him to improve his language skill. He also stated the students should attend various technical events organized at a different institution and overcome the fear and hesitation which are the barriers for our development.
Prizes and certificates were awarded to the students. The session ended around 4.50 p.m with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Sri Ranjani II year computer science engineering.
