The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Paavai College of Engineering conducted an Anti-Ragging Rally on the Paavai campus on 09.02.2026 at 11:00 a.m. with the aim of creating awareness about the ill effects of ragging and promoting a safe and healthy academic environment.
A total of 200 NSS volunteers actively participated in the rally. The programme was formally inaugurated by Dr. V. Hariharan, Principal, and Dr. A. Immanuvel, Vice Principal, Paavai College of Engineering, who flagged off the rally and addressed the students. In their addresses, they emphasized the importance of discipline, mutual respect, and maintaining a ragging-free campus.
The rally proceeded through the campus, with students holding placards and raising slogans against ragging, thereby spreading messages of unity, harmony, and respect among students. The event successfully created awareness and reinforced the institution’s commitment to ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment. The Anti-Ragging Rally was conducted successfully with the active participation and coordination of NSS volunteers, making the programme meaningful and impactful.
