The Department of CSE and AI&DS organized an alumni guest lecture program on the title of “Mainframes – The Big Iron of Computing World”. The session was inaugurated by Dr. A.Immanuvel Principal, Paavai College of Engineering. The inaugural function to the Guest Lecture was made in presence of Dr. A. Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering, Mr. R. Murugesan, Head of the Department, CSE and AI & DS felicitated the gathering. Also, Head of the Department’s of various Departments, faculty members of CSE and AI & DS were attended the session.
Dr. A. Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering, in his Presidential Address, he highlighted the importance of the technical skills.Mr. R.Murgesan Head of the Department of CSE and AI&DS also felicitated the function.
The keynote address was given by the guest speaker Mr.Hayath Basha, Kyndryl India (IBM GTS), Senior System Z Programmer, Bangalore also. He expressed his sincere gratitude towards the College for their support and guidelines. He shared his experience as a student which gave his confidence to face the real world outside the campus. The session was carried on the title “Mainframes – The Big Iron of Computing World”. He shared news about the uses of mainframes and applications of mainframes in our active life. He advised the students to pay attention in their goal with hard work and regular practice to prove our self in the world. He expressed his skills in his presentation. He motivated the students to kindle their thoughts to achieve their goals. Next he moved to the importance of technical skill which will be useful in their career growth. He encouraged all the students to participate in all the events and instructed that practical learning and studying pattern will decide their success. He passed the positive vibration and made all the students to focus towards their goal.
He rendered his heartfelt thanks to the Management, Principal, Head of the department of CSE and AI&DS and the faculty members. Ms.J.Prathiksha, Final year CSE, welcomed the gathering. The session ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms.D.Thilagavathi, Third year CSE.
