The Department of Automobile Engineering was organized an alumni guest lecture program on the title of “Importance of Manufacturing Quality”. The session was inaugurated at 10.00 a.m. by Dr. K.K.Ramasamy Director Admin in the presence of Dr. R.Arangasamy Principal, Head of the department of Automobile Engineering, Heads of various departments, faculty members and the participants from departments of Automobile Engineering. Mr.K.Azhagudurai -Third year Automobile Engineering welcomed the gathering. In his Presidential Address, the Director Admin insists the students to develop the technical skills for their career development. The keynote address was given by the guest speaker Mr.M.Balaji, Junior Engineer, MADRAS ENGINEERING INDUSTRIES, CHENNAI. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the College for their support. He expressed his experience as a student which gave him confidence to face the real world outside the campus. He started the session with definition of quality and their importance. He explained quality principles, system of quality and failure of quality. He gave brief information about Document handling in Manufacturing Quality. He motivated the students to participate in plant training and instruct them to gain practical knowledge. He passed the positive vibration and made all the students to work towards their goal. He rendered his heartfelt thanks to the Management, Principal, Head of the Department –Automobile and the faculty members. The session ended around 01:00p.m. With the vote of thanks proposed by Mr.B.Lishanth, Final year Automobile Engineering.
