The Department of Civil Engineering conducted a three days Survey camp for III year students from 27th June 2019 to 29th June 2019 as part of the Anna University curriculum for 5th semester Civil Engineering. Mr.L.Kannan (AP/Civil), Ms.K.Saranya (AP/civil), Mr.M.Ganeshkumar (AP/civil) and Mr.T.Venkatachalam (AP/civil) handled the sessions in the camp. This camp was aimed to groom students with essential knowledge and to expose them to the real work, and also to encourage leadership and teamwork skills.
The three days camp was divided into various surveying exercises- fly leveling, compass surveying, theodolite surveying , plane table surveying and contouring. During the camp all the students involved actively and learnt all the technical aspects which are required in the field of Surveying.
The Department is thankful to the management for their approval and guidance in conducting this camp successfully and to the active participation of students during the camp.
