Institution’s Innovation Council association with Entrepreneur Development Cell organized three days workshop on “Product Development Program E-Vehicle” from 28.04.2022 to 30.04.2022.The programme commenced with a Prayer song along with Tamilthai Vazthu. The inaugural function to the workshop was made in presence of Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions, Dr.A.Immanuvel, Principal, President of IIC, Paavai College of Engineering and Dr.J.Narendran, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering,Vice President of IIC, S.Prabu Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Convenor and R.Jeevandh Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering,Coordinator of Entrepreneur Development Cell. The welcome address was given by Mr.R.Hariprasath, Final year, B.E., Mechanical Engineering. Dr.K.K.Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions presided over the function. In his presidential address, he stated that we should have a positive thinking and have to focus on developing the positive side of E-vehicles. He added that the students have to think about becoming entrepreneurs, who contributes more for development of society and nation.
The introduction to Chief Guest was given by Mr.D.Kulothungan, Final year, B.E., Mechanical Engineering. The resource person Mr.R.Alagarsamy, Founder and Chief Executive officer, Mechnido gave brief introduction about identification of real time problems and forming solution by systematic approaches.
Felicitation address was given by Dr.A.Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering. He specified the need for projects related sustainable development. He also added that the E-vehicle are the interdisciplinary area where research has to done for sustainable and pollution free development.
The day one session was continued with the resource person Mr.R.Alagarsamy on the topic of Product development Program E-vehicle. He gave brief introduction about identification of real time problems and forming solution by systematic approaches such as applying root cause analysis, DFMEA and relevant tools. The day two sessions, was continued with E-Vehicle trends and opportunities. In the day three sessions he explained product development strategy of E-vehicle along with material selection and design calculation. And also he conducted hands on training on E-Vehicle assembly. The Vote of thanks was given by Mr.S.Abishek Shani from Final year Mechanical Engineering and the session ended with National Anthem.
