A Seminar on “Smart Automation using IOT and Artificial Intelligence” was organized by the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Paavai College of Engineering on 19.07.2019. The function started with prayer song. Dr.M.Devi , Principal of Paavai College of Engineering gave the presidential address. She highlighted the need of updating the latest technology related to our area and insisted the students to utilize the opportunities effectively. The seminar was given by Mr.S.Sathishkumar, General Manager, IMAGECON India, Salem. In the session he gave an awareness on developing the employability skills. He gave information on job opportunities in the top companies and the expectations of companies. He explained the IOT basics and its applications in Electrical Engineering. Also he gave overview on Artificial Intelligence. The welcome address was delivered by V.Swathi of final year. Head of the department, faculty members and students of EEE department took part.
