Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Committee

Introduction:

The Sexual Harassment Prevention Committee is committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment by addressing and preventing instances of sexual harassment. It promotes awareness, ensures adherence to legal frameworks, and provides a platform for fair resolution of complaints.

Objectives:

Create a safe and respectful institutional environment by preventing and addressing sexual harassment.
Promote awareness through educational programs about individual rights, gender equality, and mutual respect.
Implement preventive measures and establish clear policies for handling complaints confidentially.
Provide a platform for reporting incidents and ensure appropriate actions are taken in line with legal and institutional guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Establish a confidential and accessible reporting system for harassment incidents.
Conduct fair and transparent investigations while maintaining confidentiality throughout the process.
Maintain detailed, confidential records of complaints and resolutions for legal and institutional reference.
