An alumni meet was conducted on March 10, 2024, at 2 p.m. in Pragathi Hall at our Paavai College of Engineering. A total number of 150 alumni has attended that meeting. This event was a great way for alumni to connect with each other, shared his experiences, and establish professional relationships with his juniors. can lead to job opportunities, collaborations, or new business partnerships.
Alumni can offer invaluable advice to current students or recent graduates about career paths, industry trends, job hunting, and more. Alumni meetings help maintain a strong connection between the alumni and the institute. This encourages a sense of loyalty and fosters a lasting community around the institute.
Mr.V.Shankar, One of our mechanical alumni, shared that a lot of job-based training was provided in our college that helped him to get a job. He assure that he alsomake our final-year students to participate in the job awareness program, and a lot of opportunities which were available outside of the college.
Mr. P. Naveen kumar , One of our Mechanical alumni, reports that our college staff and management were very friendly with alumni. He expects lifelong connectivity with the staff, students, and management.
Mr. S. Boopathi, One of our Computer science alumni said to organize the awareness program about higher studies for our third and final year students. For that HoD gave the answer that we are now conducting a lot of higher study-related activities, like Taiwan study MOUs, in our college.
Mr. Vasanthkumar one of our computer science alumini, said to provide skill-based, practical-oriented training to our juniors.
Mr. N. Kishore One of our ECE alumni said to give job-oriented training and internship programs from fifth semester onwards which will result in getting the students industrial ready at the end of the eight semesters.
Ms. P. Nanthini One of our EEE Alumnisaid that we must provide internship-related activities and company exposure to our juniors, then only they will get to know exactly what the company need from the students
Our principal Dr. A Immanuvel addressed thealumni’s said that we are planning to conduct alumni lectures periodically. In this regard he requested the alumni to share their valuable time and knowledge with our pre final and final year students. Once again, he thanked the alumni’s for attending and sharing the expectations with the institution.
