The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Paavai College of Engineering has organized an Alumni Guest Lecture on “Testing Shapes Exceptional Software” on 24.02.2024 at Brilliant Hall.
The programme was commenced with Prayer song followed by Tamizhthai vazthu. The event was held in presence of Dr.K.K. Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions, Dr.A.Immanuvel, Principal, Paavai College of Engineering and R.Murugesan, Head of the Department Computer Science and Engineering, Paavai College of Engineering.
Anbuchelvan.V.K from Second Year Computer Science and Engineering welcomed the gathering. Followed by him Dr.K.K. Ramasamy, Director Administration, Paavai Institutions gave the presidential address. In his presidential address, he stated the outgrowth of Artificial Intelligence and also instructed the students to develop the skills by doing courses on platforms like Swayam and Coursera. He concluded with the importance of communication skills and its vital role in placements.
The Chief Guest introduction was given by Ms.Kaviya Sri, from Second Year Computer Science and Engineering. The Chief Guest Mr.M.Mohan Kumar, Automation Testing Engineer, Movate Technologies Pvt Ltd Chennai gave a keynote address.
Then he gave a Hands on training to the students on Testing a software by using Selenium and Playwrite Framework. He also stated the importance of Selenium framework in testing. He made his session intractive by asking tech questions to the students. Finally he concluded by giving some tips to crack placements.
The Vote of Thanks was given by S.Keerthi from Second Year Computer Science and Engineering and the session ended with National Anthem.
