The Department of CSE organized a guest lecture under Alumni series on the title “IT Field and Technical Skills” on 17th June 2019. Mr.Rajan Kumar B.E, Lead UI Engineer, Reckonsys Tech Labs Pvt. Ltd., working for Lenovo, Bangolore was the chief guest for the function. The function started on a divine note with the prayer song. Ms.N.Gayathri Devi, IV CSE welcomed the gathering. The function was presided over by Dr. M. Devi, Principal, Paavai College Engineering.Dr. M. Devi in her presidential address stressed the importance of Guest lectures and Workshops to enhance the knowledge of students. She encouraged the students to interact with the guest and take maximum benefit out of the function. She emphasized the students to receive full information of all forums and mould them for better achievements in their life. Finally, she insisted the students to get ready for employability with the latest technology and required skills. The Chief Guest, Mr. Rajan Kumar, gave ideas to do certification courses, which have bright opportunities in getting jobs easier. He also advised students to choose their right path in IT Field, like testing, designing, or programmer etc. so, that it helps them in getting jobs in correct way. The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. S. Hariharan, IV CSE. Heads of various Departments, Professors, and Lecturers actively participated in the guest lecture programme and made it a grand success. Students from CSE Department participated with full zeal and were benefitted by this programme.
