Women Empowerment Committee
Introduction:
The Women Empowerment Cell is dedicated to promoting gender equality and supporting the well-being of women students and faculty within the institution. It aims to create a safe and inclusive space where women can express themselves, access resources, and excel in all aspects of life. The cell focuses on empowering women through awareness, education, and leadership opportunities while addressing gender-related issues and societal barriers.
Objectives:
- Promote gender equality, women’s rights, and empowerment within the institution.
- Provide a safe, supportive space for women to express concerns and access necessary resources.
- Raise awareness on issues such as violence prevention, gender sensitization, and women’s health.
- Foster leadership development, participation in decision-making, and active contribution to the community and society.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and harassment-free environment, addressing complaints of discrimination or abuse.
- Celebrate gender equality through cultural events and campaigns, including International Women’s Day.
- Monitor and resolve gender-related issues, such as sexual harassment or discrimination, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
- Ensure access to educational and skill development opportunities for the holistic growth and success of women.
