Library Committee

Introduction:

The Library Committee is dedicated to managing and developing the library’s resources and services to meet the academic and research needs of students, faculty, and staff. It ensures the library remains a dynamic, accessible, and resourceful center for learning and innovation.

Objectives:

Provide access to diverse information resources, including books, journals, and digital materials, to enhance learning and research.
Foster a culture that encourages the academic community to actively utilize library services.
Establish effective policies and procedures to ensure efficient library operations and user satisfaction.
Continuously improve library services by integrating new technologies and addressing user needs.

Responsibilities:

Identify the academic community’s resource needs and acquire materials aligned with curriculum and research priorities.
Ensure efficient library operations, including cataloging, circulation, and access to physical and digital resources.
Monitor and recommend improvements to the library’s physical and technological infrastructure to enhance user experience.
