Institution’s Innovation Council Cell

Introduction:

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is dedicated to fostering innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among both students and faculty. It aims to create an ecosystem that encourages the development of new ideas, products, and technologies while promoting research and commercialization of innovative projects. 

Objectives:

  • Promote innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.
  • Foster a conducive environment for the development of new ideas, products, and technologies.
  • Provide resources, mentorship, and guidance to help develop innovative solutions to societal challenges.
  • Enhance the institution’s presence in the innovation space through collaborations with industry leaders, research organizations, and government agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate programs that stimulate creative thinking and encourage students and faculty to work on innovative projects.
  • Conduct workshops and training to equip students with skills like design thinking, prototyping, and product development.
  • Set up and maintain innovation labs and research facilities to support the development of ideas and projects.
  • Connect innovative projects and startups with funding opportunities through external agencies, including government schemes and venture capitalists.
