Entrepreneurship Development Cell

Introduction:

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) aims to nurture an entrepreneurial spirit among students by providing the tools, mentorship, and support required to transform business ideas into reality. By bridging the gap between academia and industry, the EDC helps students gain real-world insights and equips them with the necessary skills to manage successful enterprises. 

Objectives:

  • Foster an entrepreneurial mindset and encourage innovation among students.
  • Promote self-employment by providing resources, guidance, and networking opportunities.
  • Equip students with skills and knowledge needed to start and manage enterprises.
  • Bridge the gap between academia and industry through practical exposure and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify promising business ideas from students and nurture them into start-up projects with resources and guidance.
  • Conduct awareness campaigns and events to motivate students to consider entrepreneurship as a career path.
  • Help students explore financial options such as government schemes, venture capital, and angel investors.
  • Create an incubation platform offering infrastructure, technical support, and business development services.
