The Department of Cyber Security was formed in the year 2022, with the primary objective of providing world class education in the field of Cyber Security while addressing the problems of today and tomorrow. With an increasing number of users, devices and programs in the modern enterprise, combined with the increased deluge of data — much of which is sensitive or confidential — the importance of cybersecurity continues to grow. The growing volume and sophistication of cyber attackers and attack techniques compound the problem even further. The department endeavours to produce confident professionals tuned to real time working environment. The course motivates to work closely with data security and to preserve data. The department has well equipped and spacious laboratories with modern computer equipment’s.
