M.Vimala, completed her graduation from Govt. Arts College for Women,( University of Madras), Salem-8, post graduation from Govt. Arts College (University of Madras) Salem-7,and her M.Phil degree from Manonmaniam Sundranar University,Thirunelveli. She began her career as Lecturer in Mathematics at Paavai Polytechnic College, Namakka lin 1999. Later she joined as Assistant Professor in Paavai Engineering College in 2002 and elevated to Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Mathematics at Paavai Group of Institutions, Namakkal in 2010. She is currently working as Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Mathematics at, Paavai College of Engineering, Namakkal since 2015. She has been working in the institution since 1999. She has a rich experience of 20 years in the field of Technical Education. Besides being incharge of various activities throughout the term, She has held various positions and responsibilities which includes Board of Studies, Central Valuation, Anti ragging Committee and Staff Redressal Committee & Chair person for Vishaka committee etc.
She has published 5 papers in International and National conferences. Also she has an authored various Mathematical text books. She is one of the Squad Member in Anna University Examinations. She is an active Member in ISTE (The Indian Society for Technical Education) & MMA (Madras Management Association, Salem Chapter). She is a Member of the syllabus subcommittee member for framing the curricula and syllabi for Anna University, Chennai. She has received Thiruvallur Award from Kaviyarasar Kalai Tamil Sangam, Paramathi Velur, Namakkal. She has acted as a Jury for various Technical Events and presented more than 10 Guest Lectures in various Institutions.

Physics is the father of all sciences. Engineering is a form of applied science with Physics as an important part, which involves the study of matter and its motion and behavior through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force.
Chemistry is one of the basic subjects in Engineering Studies. The knowledge of chemistry becomes vital to save the world from the hazards of environmental pollution.
