Introduction

IQAC of Paavai college of Engineering was started in the year 2021 to plan and regulate the quality enhancement activities in Academics, Research and Administration. The cell functions with the inputs and cooperation of its member representatives from the Students, Faculties, Management, Alumni, Employers and Stakeholders. It facilitates its members to come up with the best teaching and innovative strategies to eliminate the discrepancies and improve the multi level quality culture in institution.

Objectives

The objective of IQAC is to enhance the education and the related activities in the institution. IQAC provides clarity of work strategies and emphasis research and development activities.

Functions & Responsibilities

• To initiate, plan and supervise the academic activities that are necessary to improve the quality of the education.
• Emphasis the faculty members to adopt active learning strategies.
• Help students to work on their academic and non-academic skills.
• Motivate and emphasize the faculties to upgrade themselves through FDPs and standard certified courses.
• Enhance research and developments activities.
• Encourage the departments to conduct Guest lectures and programs of professional leaders and experts from different fields.
• Inviting regular inputs of the member representatives from the Students, Faculties, Alumni, Employers and Stakeholders on institutional educational polices.
• Maintain authentic documentation and proper records of all quality enhancement activities.
