IQAC

Introduction

The IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) of Paavai College of Engineering was established in 2021 to coordinate and oversee quality enhancement endeavors in Academics, Research, and Administration. This cell operates through collaboration and inputs from representatives across various stakeholders, including students, faculty, management, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders. It facilitates the formulation of innovative teaching strategies and initiatives to address discrepancies and foster a culture of multi-level quality improvement within the institution.

Objectives

The primary objective of the IQAC is to enhance education and related activities within the institution. It aims to provide clarity in work strategies and promote research and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

Initiate, plan, and oversee academic activities aimed at improving the quality of education.
Encourage faculty members to embrace active learning strategies.
Support students in developing their academic and non-academic skills.
Motivate faculty members to pursue professional development through FDPs (Faculty Development Programs) and certified courses.
Facilitate and promote research and development activities.
Encourage departments to organize guest lectures and programs featuring professional leaders and experts from various fields.
Solicit regular input from member representatives on institutional educational policies.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of all quality enhancement activities.
