Guest Lecture programme on "Latest Technological Developments in IT and Networking" was delivered by Ms.G.Kalaiselvi, Senior Project Leader, Polaris, Chennai and "The Professional Life in Companies and Corporates" was delivered by Mr.R.Boopathi, Senior Executive, Global Architech pvt, Chennai which was organized by Computer Science and Information Technology of Paavai Engineering at Kalams Chamber on 21st January 2012.
Shri.CA.N.V.Natarajan, Chairman of Paavai Institutions presided over the function.
In his presidential address the Chairman said that Students should be aware of the latest technological development which would help them in their career. He also insisted the student to learn about Professionalism.
The Chief Guest Mrs.G.Kalaiselvi, Senior project leader, Polaris, Chennai in her guest lecture explained in detail about various technological developments in IT field like Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Web Technology, Networking, Business Intelligence, Mobile Technology, Document Management, Service Oriented Architecture, Security Technology and IT Management. And she clarified the doubts of the students indepth.
The Chief Guest Mr.R.Boopathi,Senior Executive Global Architech pvt,Chennai in his Guest Lecture explained that the candidates should perform their responsibilities with utmost sincerely, loyalty and pivot towards changing environment. The basic requirement for a student to be recruited is confidence, clarity in expressing their thoughts, executing the plans in proper manner, a better communication skill, a right attitude, Team spirit, knowledge of the organization, skill of learning and unlearning when the necessity occurs, Punctuality, time management, Team building, Problem solving and leadership qualities is a must. He also pointed out seven points for success. They are, all should accept the knowledge of experience persons, acting carefully in crisis, human and compassionate, hard demand, thinking differently, aim to achieve, and work with a purpose. He also informed that the organization with both men and women achieve, perform, invent more than any organization which comprises of only men. Gender diversification is necessary for the future growth.
Ealier, Ms.G.Meenakumari, third year CSE student welcomed the gathering. Ms. R. Manju, third year IT student proposed vote of thanks.
